Berdani GmbH manufactures high-quality products in stringed instrument making and stands for the use of the latest digital technologies. We produce components for violin, cello and double bass as well as viola spare parts. Our products are manufactured in the workshop in Marktneukirchen, Vogtland, using local woods. This supports the preservation of tropical wood species.

Chinrest
Our chinrests are harmoniously shaped. The development together with musicians resulted in products with a pleasant and comfortable feeling in the neck and chin area. You can choose from four types of wood: Dark Paper, Boxwood, Dark Boxwood and Ebony.
Some advantages of our products: The reinforcement by a sleeve system achieves that when tightening the chinrest does not go up. Due to the extra small cut-out of the chinrest feet and the covering with 2 mm cork, the top and the body swing freely. The chinrest screws are available in different lengths in anti-allergic titanium or nickel-plated.
Tailpiece
We offer tailpieces in different models and different lengths. Some of the advantages of our tailpieces: The optimal sound is created by the choice of the weighting, which is chosen in such a way that the vibrations of the instrument are not hindered. And by the fact that the angles of the tailpieces are straight down and parallel to each other. Since the thickest string fits through the slot without being recut, it vibrates more freely. The tailpieces' rims are rounded on one side so that they minimise rubbing of the string.
Pegs
French, English and historical pegs are available. You can choose between dark paper, boxwood, dark boxwood and ebony. And black, white and gold knobs are available, as well as three different style thicknesses.
