BERDANI manufactures tailpieces that are precisely made by master craftsmen. All products are entirely produced in Germany in our studio.
  • the weighting of our viola tailpieces support the sound of the instrument and favour the overtones of your viola
  • the strings run parallel from the bridge to the tailpiece and do not taper This results in a harmoniously balanced sound
  • the slot width is chosen so that the strings fit loosely into the slot and can vibrate freely
  • the hoop of the tailpiece is firmly glued to the tailpiece and rounded on one side This prevents the string from being rubbed on
  • the holes and slots are milled parallel to the rounding of the tailpiece, so the strings run without tension to the bridge
  • 2 hanging strings are included. One hanging string made of plastic and a braided textile string which improves the sound
